Polygonal Crochet Rug Pattern
Looking for a fun and squishy rug for the kitchen or bathroom? This crochet rug pattern will work great for both rooms! The Polygonal Rug Pattern is a unique half circle design made with an amazing yarn, and I’m sure you will love it in front of your kitchen sink!

While I was searching Joann’s one summer day I ran across this yarn that was amazing!! Super super big and squishy. My first thought was that it needed to become a crochet rug. I had started on the design for the Polygonal Rug with Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn and everything was going swell, but once I set my eyes on that Maker Big yarn it was over. I immediately switched yarns.
One of the best parts of using the Maker Big yarn is that it works up so quickly. When you are making items with kids running around in the back ground the last thing you can handle is a lifelong design, so quick and easy is the name of the game. I love being able to see a completed project in the same day of starting. The instant gratification is on point with this pattern for sure!
Another important thing I have learned over the years with working with bulky projects likes Crochet Baskets and Crochet Rugs is that they need to be easy on the hands. This yarn is very easy on the hands!

The Bernat Maker Big Yarn is an easy care yarn (machine washable and dryable), made of 50% cotton and 50% nylon. I have been using my rug for a year now and it has been through the wash so many times and holds up really well.
