I'm on a mission to tackle my yarn stash this year! It's not quite at 'explosion' level, but it could use some taming. Cue the stash busting pattern!

Right now in Indiana, we're teetering on the edge of spring, and I'm all about tossing in some blooms and bursts of color to the crib. I'm thinking a funky daisy garland could jazz it up!

I started this project as being an item to have a markets and in local brick and mortar stores that I currently sell products in. The original yarn I actually used was a warp thread from Niroma Studio and I love it! It has these beautiful muted colors that are perfect for creating a boho rainbow. However, I wanted to use up some scraps and make these little flowers a little more accessible to everyone. So of course you can create these flowers in a variety of yarn weights, keep reading for some yarn/hook options.

OPTIONAL

Blocking the daisies can give the garland a more finished look.

Lay the daisies out on your blocking boards and use the pins to shape the daisies and keep the daisies in place. Spray each daisies with spray starch. If you have a spray starch that creates a rouch finish you will want to lay the daises upside down. That way it doesn't affect the apparence of your garland.

Leave until completely dry

Assembly

You will want to cut your jute rope to the length of 56".

Using your tapestry needle run the jute rope through several loops of yarn on the back of each daisy. Make sure that it is evenly hanging on the rope.

At each end tie a small loop using an overhand knot. This will create an easy way to hang your garland.
