Over the last few days my anxiety has been hitting Over the last few days my anxiety has been hitting me hard. Ugh it's so hard to resist the urge to fight it rather than just let it be. I have decided to take it slow with myself this week. And just try and do some things during my kid free mornings that are more geared to caring for my mind rather than accomplishing everything possible. Yoga, mediation and drinking more water are my goals for this week. . . I have read a lot about how mediation and yoga can really help with anxiety and depression. I truly believe they can help, but I have to remember that it takes a long time to see results. I won't feel instantly better just because I practiced those today. We can't expect to see immediate benefits with everything. We live in a society that asks how soon do I see results from doing this or taking that medication? how soon do get that flat tummy? how soon can I expect to achieve that goal? I think we need to slow down and live the day to day. . . So friends let's slow down and live in the moment today. Even though sometimes like the sky it can be gray and gloomy; the sun it still there, it's just hiding and it will be back. . .
